Unit 1 - We are drawing an alien

I decided to teach English classes for children again. I've fallen out of the habit, but "there are no former teachers". I haven't gotten into the swing of it yet, so far I only like preparing handouts. After all, teaching children and getting them interested in your subject is a lot of work. Before meeting a child, I don't ask his relatives about him, I look at the parents, the family home, and try to get a good impression of the child based on what he laughs at, how he says he doesn't know something, whether he likes to draw and how he colors his pictures, how quickly he gets tired. Usually, the impression is formed during the very first lesson.

Я опять решила проводить занятия по английскому языку для детей.  Немного отвыкла, но "бывших учителей не бывает". Не вошла еще в русло, пока нравится только готовить раздаточный материал. Все-таки это большой труд - учить детей, заинтересовать их своим предметом. Перед тем, как встретиться с ребенком, я не распрашиваю его родственников о нем, смотрю на родителей, на дом семьи, и пытаюсь получить верное впечатление о ребенке по тому над чем он смеется, как говорит, что что-то не знает, любит ли рисовать и как раскрашивает рисунки, насколько быстро устает. Обычно впечатление складывается на первом же занятии.
